Third and final group stage for ASUS Summer Cup has been announced as the tournament is now down to just eight teams with the entire event being finished this weekend. ASUS Summer Cup started a couple of weeks back with hundreds of teams participating, and after multiple rounds of single elimination followed up by two earlier group stages, we are down to eight participants.
Most notable teams knocked out so far might have been Ukrainian mixteam featuring former k23 talent Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev and Danes dakarma who saw Finn "karrigan" Andersen of fnatic standing in. Following this group stage the final phase will be a six team single elimination best-of-three bracket, which means the top three placing teams from this group stage will advance, with group winners guaranteeing themselves top four.
This group stage will be played out tomorrow. Quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place on Saturday from 12:00 onwards, which is the time the grand final is currently oddly scheduled for on Sunday. Time is adjusted to your selected timezone |
