We sat down with FireGamers star Renato "nak" Nakano and discussed with him his side's progression to the quarter-final stage. The Brazilian team are through to the playoffs at the ESWC finals after the tournament admins had initially stated they would have to play overtime against H2k Gaming after beating Mojawi Gaming 29-1 due to the Frenchmen leaving the server half way through the game. Nakano is in full support of the admins' final ruling and believes it to be the only call that could have been made.
FireGamers took a beating in their opening match of the second group stage, losing to SK Gaming 22-8, and Nakano had words of praise for the Swedes' display.
Nakano added that he feels his team, who will take on mTw in the quarter-finals, should not be written off as he looks to lift his second ESWC title.
